Ostara Main Menu

Once logged in to the application, Users will be taken to the main Application page: the System module. On the System module, Users can complete the following actions (depending on the profile permissions):

●  Log off & Exit - This is how to leave the system. "Log off" returns the User to the Log in screen and "Exit" closes the application.

●  Change Password - Should the User wish to change their password then clicking the "Change password" button provides this ability.

●  Change Proxy - This allows Users to change the proxy system that is used to access Ostara by their servers.

●  Connection Test - This allows the Users to perform a connection test to check if the connection between themselves, the Internet and Ostara.

●  Visual Style - This allows Users to change the colour of the Ostara interface from one of the colours in the drop down box - shown on the screen shot below as Office 2007 (Blue).  This will save the display setting on a per user, per instance basis.

●  View Change Audit - This allows the Users to review changes made to specific data areas in the system - which Users changed the data and what it was changed from/to.

Also from this point, Users are able to access the other areas of the system just by selecting the module from the ribbon menu at the top. What is available to the User is also driven by their permissions.
